This weekend I'm playing in my first indoor-coed soccer game. I just picked up a pair of indoor soccer shoes (were they necessary? I haven't a clue) and two new pairs of soccer socks--one in the color of the indoor team and one in the color of my outdoor team. I'm stoked.
Holding the socks, it occurred to me that no leg shaving is necessary! Woo-hoo!
I don't shave my legs in the winter. Why would I? Ideally, I'd never shave but I'm too self-conscious/cowed by societal norms not to shave in the summer. And, hey, men "have" to shave too, so it's not the most sexist thing in the world.
Grateful for: winter.
