I'm sitting in a coffee shop now, the type of place where I did a good deal of writing (blogging) back in the day. Today I'm mixing some work writing and reading. Also need to muffle the loud convo of some bro-y neighbors going on about fundraising (couldn't tell what the cause was!) in this county. I'm still anxious about finishing some elements of my work, but also thinking I can do it all. Certainly, I will have to work this weekend. That's fine. That's how it's going these days. I am taking off next week for a short trip to Boston and a conference. Jimmy is coming with me. We are foolishly but happily taking the train. The train ride is very long but it will be a nice, hopefully relaxing part of the trip. I hope to get some work done on the train, which may be reading the two papers I'm supposed to discuss at the conference. But really, who has time?
This weekend, I wanted to take a bike ride Saturday morning. Then I signed up for an election canvassing shift on Sunday afternoon. Too much but I have to do something.
I guess every day I will get a little more done and eventually I will finish.
Grateful for: getting something done.
