I'd say this was a pretty successful weekend.
Friday was a movie after court with DrJ and C-money. I hadn't seen either of them in forever so it was good to hang out. We went to an early show so there was time for dinner after.
On Saturday morning, I went to my third sculling session. I was in a double and it went pretty well. I was stroke and bow complemented me on my steady pace. I was quite tired afterwards, which I'm glad about since it means I was working hard.
I sat around most of the rest of the day, watching tv/dvds, knitting and eating. I also showered. In the evening, I hit Art-O-Matic--with DrJ and a friend of hers. We met C-money later. It was quite unusual to see these friends twice in one weekend…a real treat.
I won't go into the late night shenanigans on Saturday. Let's just say they are growing less amusing over time and will be discontinued shortly.
Sunday, I only had one plan: a condo meeting at 6pm. I was dreading this meeting because, in the past, I've had problems with my neighbors. None of the troublesome ones live here any longer…but since the newest people have arrived, no one seems to do any work around here except me. That's an exaggeration, but it certainly feels that way.
In the morning, I made some scrambled eggs. I ate an orange. I knit. Later, I stripped the bed and did some laundry. I ran the dishwasher. I vacuumed--a HUGE accomplishment. I went to the bank to deposit the condo fees (very late!). I picked up a few things at the drug store.
The condo meeting went surprisingly well. People volunteered to take on more responsibilities and no one had any quibbles with the way I handled things. I will continue on as treasurer (sigh), but I think that's best for now.
After the meeting, I changed the battery in the second floor fire alarm. Perhaps not that much has changed.
For a lazy Sunday, it was quite productive. I'm ready for court on Monday.
Grateful for: lazy-ish weekends.
