Do you remember an old entry called "Pure Dating"? In that post I wrote about a guy named "Calvin Dane." In case it wasn't totally obvious the name was merely a clever pseudonym.
It turns out the real Calvin Dane googled himself and came across this site. He even left a note in the guestbook. Am I the only one who thinks this is hilarious?
To the real Calvin Dane: I am so sorry that I wrote about you without ever meeting you. As far as I know, I have never met anyone named Calvin Dane. The "Calvin Dane" in my story is not you. I'm not even sure how I came up with the name (well, I am pretty sure, but I'd rather not give away my trade secrets). The choice of the name was fairly random. It did not involve searching through phone books or trying to make a real sounding name.
Calvin, again, I apologize. I hope you got a chuckle out of it.
